The Yellowstone national park mountain goats pictures : I spotted the Mountain goats near the west entrance gate of Yellow stone national park . It was a nice sight to see the whole family grazing on the mountain .I had to run a little bit to the mountain to get a goos angle . And of course the tourist crowd started teaming up to disturb the animals .Anyways they were the first set of animals we saw at the start of the day at Yellowstone national park

The real name of the animal showcased is bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) .Thanks Brian Crawford (Canadian Photographer) for the information.

This is the second time I met Jessica for the Provo Photography Meetup event .The First time was a shoot at the Alpine Loop canyons which was almost a year back .Anyways it was nice to meet this really enthusiastic model again .This time I concentrated on taking some portraits on her and here are some of them .

I was driving to Jackson Hole in Grand Teton National Park from Yellowstone National park , Wyoming when I saw the two Antelopes very near to the road .I stopped right away and jumped out of the car to capture some pictures of the Duo .It was kind of dark at that time and I had to get the shots before it becomes darker . The only issue with Yellowstone National park / Grand Teton national park is , whenever a tourist sees a car parked near the road or sees somebody with a camera (most of the time with a Proffessional camera kit ) , they tend to stop suddenly and scare the animals . Most of the time its the closing of the door which frighten the animals . And here also the same happened . And I had to walk quietly for some time to be near to the animal again and get the right shots. Anyways I guess it was worth the patience .Enjoy .

Pete Hansen , East bay studios Provo , created a meetup Group Named “East bay studios Group ” and he voluntarily conducts monthly meetup in near-by interesting photo shoot locations . I am glad I was one among the lucky people to be invited to join the group and do some fun Photo shoots. The latest Meetup was held on August 18th 2009 and would be sharing some of the pictures taken on many models who turned up for the meetup. The photo shoot location was a storage site for large metal storage containers that also has large pipes, old equipment and other odd and various things laying about .The model showcased here is Brian and this was his first modeling experience .All the best Brian .And thanks again Pete .
