I met Annapurna and sagar at the my friend’s Rajeev’s birthday and they asked whether I can take some pictures for them. I was much confused with the location to choose and wanted to try some different place this time . I selected the Big cotton wood canyons and thought of getting some pictures between the woods . Recently at a birthday party I met Dev Avasarala and Sanjay Sharma who wanted me to help them in their fund raising event for India Cultural Center (ICC Utah). The ICC were planning to conduct an India mela where individuals would put up stalls / booth for food , mehendi , fun stuff etc .I decided to help them in setting up a photo booth for portraits , charging 10$ for two portraits (8 X 10 prints ) .

I rented the studio equipments from Pixels and frames and setup a whole studio at the booth . 22 groups came to my studio and I was able to raise near to 220 $ for the organization . Check out some of the pictures taken at my booth .

Tips & Setup details
When you have studio lighting setup , I always shoot at Manual mode with F6 – f 9 and a shutter speed of 1 / 160- 1 / 250 with respect to the distant of the lights and the subject .

I know it’s been long since I blogged and the reason : I was in India for three weeks for my wedding . So I’m a married man now… YaY !!!!!! Now getting settled a little bit after we are back in the US . So What do you think will be my next blog post about . Of course , pictures of my beautiful wife Shiniga . I was much awaiting for my India trip in December to meet and shoot some pictures of my cute little one year old niece – Vaiga Davish . She is daughter of Manju (cousin sister) and her husband Davish .I had a great time playing with her and taking some random shots without her knowledge . She was my favorite model and loved her smile .I miss you Vaiga .

Let me add my first post of 2010 . And this one is an important post too . Last month I took an important decision of my life when I was vacationing in India. I found my life partner . Yes I am getting married . And I was happy that my fiancee agreed to pose for me for couple of pictures .Thought – let me give her an idea on how her life will be in future , always posing for me . She was pretty good before the camera and I’m glad that I got the perfect match .

Note : I was late at the location and had to try taking the pictures with less light .Had to use my external flash .
