Trivandrum Zoo was one of my favorite hanging out place when I was living in the capital city of Kerala State .I got a chance to visit the animals at the zoo with my school friends Anushreeda and Sunbramanium Prasad , last month when I was vacationing in India . It was fun visiting the zoo after so many years .The deer and the black bucks are given lots of free space to walk around and I thought they are the best subjects to shoot .Enjoy the beautiful animals .

pictures of tiger cubs utah Hogle zoo

I happened to hear that the Hogle Zoo tigress (Amur) had given birth to 3 cubs and this time I wanted to shoot some excited pictures of the Cubs . My sole aim this time was to capture some shots of the tiger family and the snow leopard family . The cubs were really active and were running around , having a great playful time .It was hard to frame the angles as they were moving really fast but got some clicks in between. Although , always the big cat (the mom – Amur ) is my favorite all time .Here are some of the pictures shot at the hogle zoo last month (October 2009). Please free to use the wallpaper versions too.

Snow leopard pictures utah Hogle zoo

It was Utah Hogle zoo revisiting .And this time my plan was to shoot the snow leopard and the tiger cubs .I still remember the appreciation I got for the tiger pictures shot at the Hogle Zoo . Pronghorn pictures at antelope island utah

I had a visit to Antelope island last week to capture the wonderful sunset and got to know from the registration counter that this month its easy to site Pronghorns. And on my way to the sunset point I saw a herd of pronghorn crossing the road . I started chasing the herd quietly and was able to reach near to the group . I think they are much used to the visitors that they didn’t move much and were watching what I was doing with the camera equipments . This is the first time I saw deers in Antelope islands and loved the shots .Please enjoy the pictures .

Yellowstone national park mountain goats pictures

The Yellowstone national park mountain goats pictures : I spotted the Mountain goats near the west entrance gate of Yellow stone national park . It was a nice sight to see the whole family grazing on the mountain .I had to run a little bit to the mountain to get a goos angle . And of course the tourist crowd started teaming up to disturb the animals 
.Anyways they were the first set of animals we saw at the start of the day at Yellowstone national park
Update
The real name of the animal showcased is bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) .Thanks Brian Crawford (Canadian Photographer) for the information.
