Utah Hogle zoo in association with Utah art council , inaugurated an art show called “WORLD OF THE WILD ART SHOW ” and I’m glad to inform my readers that two of my pictures (taken at the Hogle zoo ) were selected by the selecting Jury. The Tiger close up and the peacock were the ones which were selected for this art show .

I am also really happy to share that the peacock picture got an AWARD – sponsored by the Bullock Frame company .I was astonished when my name being called and never expected an award . To my surprise the peacock picture was bought by a guest in just one hour .

Thanking the god almighty for giving me this great opportunity .

2009 was a great year for me ,  and with god’s grace, I have improved a lot in my photography skills last year. Special thanks to all you readers and keep following my the blog . Of course I appreciate your comments .Wishing you a great year ahead and hope you get all the happiness in this world .

As promised , Jeff Kerkman from Adinfini (Wisconsin) sent me the final design for the flyer they designed for the Harley Davidson company in Wisconsin using one of my picture taken last winter (Harley in Snow). And I am really happy to see one of my pictures being used for company flyer for the first time . This is truly a better way to earn some money to upgrade my camera equipments and I think I should be thinking about it seriously .

This week is very important to me . First I won third place in the Facebook Wildlife contest and now I sold one of my pictures to a company for using in their flyer .And tomorrow I am going to shoot my first wedding occasion in Logan ( Wait for the pictures ).

Jeff Kerkman from Adinfini , Wisconsin sent me an email asking whether they can use one of my picture (Harley in Snow ) in one of their client flyer . The client (The Harley-Davidson Shop of Winona ) came across my picture in Google and wanted to use it for their official flyer . I think its a privilege for me to see one of my picture being used in a professional banner and I decided to sell that picture for a small price . Here is the picture which is my first sale which was shot from my apartment complex parking lot . I am really happy for this accomplishment and waiting from Jeff to get a copy of the flyer .

I am proud to announce that I was placed third in the contest conducted by the “The Weekly Wildlife, Nature and Conservation Photography group” in Facebook .It was the Snake eating the toad picture which earned me this recognition .And to my surprise my favorite wildlife photographer Kalyan Varma voted for my picture . It was his pictures which inspired me into photography . This is the first contest that I participated and its been a good motivation that I should participate more in future .
