pictures of tiger cubs utah Hogle zoo
Written by Ratish Narooron Nov.03, 2009, under Wildlife
I happened to hear that the Hogle Zoo tigress (Amur) had given birth to 3 cubs and this time I wanted to shoot some excited pictures of the Cubs . My sole aim this time was to capture some shots of the tiger family and the snow leopard family . The cubs were really active and were running around , having a great playful time .It was hard to frame the angles as they were moving really fast but got some clicks in between. Although , always the big cat (the mom – Amur ) is my favorite all time .Here are some of the pictures shot at the hogle zoo last month (October 2009). Please free to use the wallpaper versions too.

The 4th and the 5th (close ups) seem to have some kind of human-like expressions
Good shots dude !

The way you have captured their eyes in the last 3 photos is remarkable. Each one ignites a different emotion with the first one being fear, the second almost nurturing, and the third a sense of reverence.
You’re very talented!

Good lord these are gorgeous! I love these tigers, they are so photogenic.
A note on the tiger’s name, though.. the female’s name is Basha. Amur is her species. (The Amur Tiger) The way you wrote it made that kind of ambiguous..
