Photostitching in Canon Photostitch How To Tutorial
by Ratish Naroor on Aug.04, 2010, under Tutorials
This is a simple tutorial to explain you the steps in creating a Panorama Picture using Canon Photostitch software . In simple terms , to create a panoramic image we take multiple shots in a single stretch (mostly in continuous or burst mode by just twisting you upper body and not moving the lower part of the body , left or right side). For example , in this tutorial I have used 7 shots taken from the Brooklyn heights (next to the brooklyn bridge ) in New York city . Please click on the image to view the pictures in higher size .

In this tutorial , we will be using the software Canon Photostitch for stitching the pictures together.Canon photoStitch is a free software which helps photographs to be stitched professional. Download a copy from here – Download Here
Using Canon Photo stitch
Step 01 : Select Photostitch 3.1 when you are opening the Canon Photostitch Application.

Step 02 : Click open and select all the pictures that you would like to include in the stitch .Click Switch if you feel the pictures are not aligned in the correct order .Sometimes I get wrong stitches when I try stitch in wrong order , so I recommend you to try switching the order to try a stitching the other way around.

Step 03 : Click Start to start the merging and stitch all the pictures together .

Step 04 :Once the software is done by stitching the pictures , the final picture will be shown and you can crop the panorama pictures in your desired way .
