This is me holding my cute little niece Riya Naroor. I visited my brother’s family in AZ when she was 28 days old. In Kerala tradition (the state where I am from in India ), we celebrate the 28th day after a baby is born. I was fortunate enough that they were in AZ. The trip didn’t fetch me great pictures, as the lighting was not that great and I didn’t want to bother the baby with the flash.After that day I was waiting for my second chance to photograph my niece and publish her pictures in my blog. So here I am, after 8 months, presenting pictures of cute Riya Naroor. I took these pictures in my apartment when they were here recently for a week’s stay in Utah .Enjoy the pictures and do add your comments .

Just after our wedding , We had to visit Chennai to get Shiniga’s US Visa stamped and we stayed at Shiniga’ uncle’s house. Her uncle Praveen and wife Lijisha have two wonderful cute kids and I always wanted to shoot some pictures from the time I met them . The youngest , Teju , was restless all the time and luckily he got tired and started watching cartoons . This gave me a good chance to shoot some pictures .
Namrata, aka Namu , was always ready for pictures whenever I requested her to pose . Sharing some of the pictures shot at chennai the last time I was in India .

Hima Bindu and Kiran Chandramouli , requested me to visit there house to take couple of pictures of their cute little daughter Natya . I guess they wanted some portraits for big prints and I was excited to try out some closeups this time .
Natya was fun to work with and with Hima’s full support (to make Natya excited and smiling all time) , I hope we did a great team work . I took near to a thousand pictures out of which seven hundred (700) were selected by the them.I think I have to divide the best shots into different posts , so check out the later posts for more shots of Natya and her family members .

My colleague Namrata Modi recently had a baby girl and I wanted to gift them some cute baby pictures . It was my privilege that Namrata and her husband Jitesh Mehta invited me on a weekend and I got a chance to take some pictures of their little princess Shreya .Also her mother-in-law’s home made Gujarati food was fantastic and delicious .
Watching the 3 weeks old Shreya , my heart said

You’re pretty young –but you’ll get by;
They may look cross when you start to cry.
But just a “coo” a smile that lingers –
And they’ll be wound around your fingers.

I was much awaiting for my India trip in December to meet and shoot some pictures of my cute little one year old niece – Vaiga Davish . She is daughter of Manju (cousin sister) and her husband Davish .I had a great time playing with her and taking some random shots without her knowledge . She was my favorite model and loved her smile .I miss you Vaiga .
